Movers/Drivers

Responsibilities include:

1. Transport household items and commercial equipment from their origin to the destination.
2. Manually lifting heavy items.
3. Properly wrap equipment and furniture.
4. Box-pack items, including breakables and valuables.
5. Disassemble and reassemble furniture and equipment.
6. Check paperwork to ensure it is completed.
7. Check truck’s oil, fluids, lights, blinkers, warming up vehicle and completing inspection reports.
8. Ensure that proper moving equipment and load is on truck prior to move.
9. Be polite and courteous with the customer.
10. Explain and review paperwork with customer.
11. Answer any concerns the customer may have.
12. Call dispatch if unsure of any questions.
13. Work well with other members of your team.
14. Experience in moving and storage a plus.
15. CDL required for Interstate drivers.
16. Must have clean background record and valid driver’s license.
